Ryan ‘Rye’ Barberstock

Ryan ‘Rye’ Barberstock has an extensive background in
Indigenous relations and community building. Rye has held senior communications and leadership
positions at National Indigenous Organizations and leadership roles in First Nations communities in
southwestern Ontario. Rye is currently the co-chair of the Indigenous Knowledge and Learning
Working Group at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario and sits on the
Quintevation Board of Directors. Rye is wolf clan and is Haudenosaunee from Tyendinaga Mohawk
Territory and holds the position of chief operations officer at Okwaho Equal Source.

Ryan “Rye” Barberstock a une vaste expérience des relations autochtones et du développement communautaire. Rye a occupé des postes de haut rang en communications et de leadership auprès d’organisations autochtones nationales et des postes de leadership dans des communautés des Premières nations du sud-ouest de l’Ontario. Rye est actuellement coprésident du Groupe de travail sur les apprentissages et les savoirs autochtones au Collège militaire royal du Canada à Kingston, Ontario et il siège au conseil d’administration de Quintevation. Rye est du clan du loup et il est Haudenosaunee du territoire Tyendinaga Mohawk. Il occupe le poste de chef des opérations à Okwaho Equal Source.
