Food, Farm and Fish Co-ops: How to Start and Maintain Co-operative Solutions

Have you always wanted to start a co-op but not sure where to begin? Do you want to know more about a democratic business model that is stronger than conventional businesses and gives benefits to community, workers, environment and economy? Join us for this participatory workshop on starting a co-op; you will get the an overview of how co-ops work and their important impact on social economies around the world, develop some basic tools and get a chance to think through how they can apply in your own work. The session focuses on co-ops in the local food and farm sector but provides tools applicable to any co-op.
